- What restrictions and safety measures are in place for visiting the library?
**For the health and safety of all patrons, everyone must wear a mask that covers both mouth and nose at all times while inside the library and for curbside service. If you do not have a mask, you will not be allowed inside. Masks are available at the door if needed. This is to protect our patrons and our staff, so that we can continue to provide services to you. (Children under 2 are exempt from this rule.)
Our children's computers are unavailable and our play area is closed. Programs are either online, off site, or available as grab-and-go kits for learning at home. Please do not bring large groups of children or drop your children off at the library at this time.
Browsing and computer use is limited to 15 minutes. Feel free to use the hand sanitizer located at the doors and front desk.
Chairs are unavailable at this time in order to help with social distancing. Please plan your trip accordingly or call to set up an appointment for curbside pickup.
You can click here for general Berks County Public Libraries info.

- What if I don't have a library card or it expired?
If you do not have a library card, initiate the process online or give us a call. You will still need to come to the library to show a valid ID and proof of address in person.
If you have received notice that your library card has expired, please e-mail email@example.com or call the library at 610-678-4311.
- What about storytimes and other programming?
