About Passport Appointments
The Sinking Spring Public Library is a U.S. Passport Acceptance Facility. We take photos and process applications by appointment only.
The passport office asks that appointment dates and times are respected.
Please come fully prepared for your appointment – if you are unsure of what you need to bring you can call our agent line or consult with the Department of State website: travel.state.gov. Appointments that show up unprepared may require rescheduling.
Appointments that show up more than 10 minutes late will be cancelled. If you are running late, please call us at 610-670-4826 to see if we can accommodate a late arrival or rescheduling.
Appointments that do not show up, cancel less than 24 hours in advance, or that require more than 3 reschedules will harm chances at getting future appointments. We are happy to accommodate changing schedules with proper notice.
No show appointments can hurt your chances at being rescheduled. Please be courteous and call us in advance to cancel your appointment if you no longer need it or can't make it. We have a cancellation list to fill openings.

We charge $15.00 per person for passport photos.
We accept cash, check, or card payments.
Passport photos for new, lost, or minor passport applications are taken during your passport appointment.
Passport photos for renewal applications are available at limited times based on passport agent availability. Please contact the passport line to arrange a time to have your photo taken.
We process passports by appointment only.
To learn about the application process and schedule an appointment with the Sinking Spring Public Library, please call our Passport line at 610-670-4826. Leave a detailed message with your name and number and a certified Passport Agent will return your call. Please do not leave multiple messages.
Appointments are scheduled:
- Mondays: Between 11am-6pm
- Tuesdays: Between 12pm-6pm
- Wednesdays: Between 11am-6pm
- Thursdays: Between 11am-6pm
- Saturdays: Between 8:30am-12pm
Minor 5 year passports are not renewable. Please call the passport line to schedule an appointment.
Adult 10 year passports that have been issued within the last 15 years must go online to renew or must personally mail a completed DS-82 form to the US Department State.
Forms can be picked up at the library and we can take photos for mail-in renewals.
Your application forms must be filled out using black ink in advance of your appointment. Physical forms are available to pick up at the Sinking Spring Library.
Find forms online by going to the official U.S. Department of State travel website. Passport forms are available for free. You should never have to pay for the applications.
To avoid over paying or for free services, only use the official Department of State Travel website to find your information or fill out and print forms.
