Can you help?

Can You Help?

Most of the funding for local libraries comes from local sources (County and Township) not the State of Federal Sources.  86% of funding comes from local sources nationwide.

Our funding for 2017 by township is noted below.

Municipal Support: (per capita)

District: $1    Longswamp: $ 2       Rockland: $1.19      Topton: $ 4.83

As our townships are working on their annual budgets for next year we are asking you to reach out to your local representatives and let them know you want them to support the library.  In September the Library Board visited all the Townships to request support.

Click here for municipality contact information and an example of a quick email or note you can send to your local representative.  Please know if you don’t tell them this is important to you – they will not know you want them to support the library.

Thank you for your continued support,
The Brandywine Community Library Board of Trustees
