Need something to read, listen to, or watch? Try overdrive (or the libby app on a device) or hoopla!

We are happy to select or pull books and DVDs for you while you wait outside (when we are open for curbside) or you may place your holds online. Email svcl@berks.lib.pa.us with questions or requests.

You can place your own request online here.

Please keep in mind that wait times for holds may be longer than usual due to pandemic related restrictions. Hold pick ups can be scheduled after your item says "held" in your account or we call, email, or text you that it is held. We are not able to schedule pick up for "shipped" items that haven't yet arrived. Schedule your hold pick up online here.

About Our Library

Schuylkill Valley Community Library is dedicated to providing resources and opportunities that support the literary, technological, and leisure pursuits of our patrons.

PA Forward logo

We are a bronze star library, currently working on our silver stars! Libraries are ideally positioned as community centers of information technology that, with the right support, can fuel educational and economic opportunity. Throughout the Commonwealth there is tangible evidence of libraries assuming a leadership role in advancing five key literacies – basic, information, civic and social, health, and financial – and making a real difference in peoples’ lives.
