Adopt-A-Book

Honor someone special and help to build the Boone Area Library collection.

Volunteering

If you are interested in volunteering, we welcome you. Even one hour per week is a huge help. Please call the Boone Area Library at 610-582-5666 for more information.

The library is always looking for energetic individuals to help us with shelving, and with special projects that keep the library operating smoothly. We provide all training necessary.

We also welcome one-time volunteers for special events or projects. Or if you have a special talent that you feel you can offer the library, please contact us.

Donations

Donate money, books and other items to the library.

Donate Money

The library annual fundraising mailing occurs in the fall of each year. Monetary donations (checks or cash) are gratefully accepted at any time. Thank your for your tax-deductible contribution to the library.

Donate Items

The library accepts books, DVDs, books on CD, music CDs, and computer games as donations. If the donated item is not added to our shelves, the item will be sold at our Book Store with all proceeds going to the library. Please do not place donated items in the book drop; bring them to the front desk staff during library hours. For more information regarding type and condition of acceptable items, see the Materials Donation Policy.

Thank you for your donations!

Redner's Receipts, Boyer's Caring and Sharing Cards, and Turkey Hill Milk Caps

Save your Turkey Hill milk caps! Turkey Hill donates $.05 to the library for every "Moo Money" milk cap we collect.

Please save your Redner's receipts and drop them off in the Redner's box near when you stop by the library. The library receives a donation from Redner's based on your purchases.

Boyer's Caring and Sharing Cards are available at the library. Boyer's donates 1% of your purchases to us when you use the card.

Boone Book Store Open Every Day During Library Hours

Visit the Boone Book Store for a great selection of books, DVDs, music CDs, puzzles and games for all ages. These make terrific gift items or you can just stock up on favorite authors or non-fiction subjects. All funds collected from the sale help to improve the quality of your library.
