There is plenty of time to sign-up for Summer Quest! Stop in and register. 


Around the World Program

Wednesdays at 4 PM

Read folktales, fables, and stories from each continent as we learn about beautiful countries and animals from around the world.

Ages 5-10 Years

This will be a fun and interactive virtual weekly Summer storytime beginning the week of June 7th.

Each participant will get a passport and a stamp as we travel to each continent! Activity and craft supplies will be provided in advance of each session to be enjoyed during the Zoom program.

Summer Storytime

Thursdays at 11 AM 

Designed for ages 3-8 but all ages welcome!

We will read a variety of books, sing songs and get some wiggles out while enjoying the outdoors.

Physical distancing will be implemented and masks are required.
Don’t forget your water, sunscreen, and a blanket to sit on!

In the event of bad weather, we will hold a Zoom storytime and a recording will be available on Facebook and YouTube.

Bright Start for Baby

Fridays at 9:30 AM

Pick up a grab-and-go bundle for a weekly storytime at home with you and your little one. Your bundle will include a minimum of two books and suggestions for songs, rhymes, and playtime with your infant.

You may also watch a very brief (15 minute) baby lapsit on Facebook posted each Friday at 9:30 AM. Miss Jess will demonstrate the songs and rhymes from your bundle as well as read some stories. The recorded video will be available to watch on Facebook and YouTube.

Visit the StoryWalk® at Drexelwood Park


The Township of Spring Parks and Recreation Department and the West Lawn-Wyomissing Hills Library are proud to offer a new StoryWalk® experience in Drexelwood Park! We will offer three fun stories over this summer starting with “Clap Your Hands” by Lorinda Bryan Cauley.

Drexelwood Park is located at 2111A Wellington Boulevard. Street parking is available on Wellington Boulevard

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT, and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.

Monday, July 12th from 10 AM to 2 PM

Bring a book, take a book!

Drop-in to the library and swap up to (5) books and refresh your personal library.

Join us for a free zoo program live on Zoom! Our special guest will be a Fennec Fox!

Make your own Jungle Jar with us at the West Lawn playground pavilion!

Materials and activities will be provided to create jungle themed terrariums.
