About Us

In March 1937, our library opened its doors with fifty books on loan from the state in a community that valued reading and a lending library. With the help of community organizations and volunteers, it thrived.

In 1980, the West Lawn-Wyomissing Hills library joined the then-new system of Berks County Public Libraries. Twenty-one years later, renovations on the lower level of the building allowed the library to relocate to a beautiful and unique facility.

In 2011, the West Lawn-Wyomissing Hills Library merged with and became a branch of the Spring Township Library. The two libraries work together to provide for the educational, informational, social, and entertainment needs of the township residents.

Board Meetings

The monthly STLA Board Meetings are held at the West Lawn-Wyomissing Hills Library. Meetings are open to the public. Please email director@springtwplibrary.org with questions.

Meeting Location & Time

The regular monthly meetings of the Spring Township Library Association (“Library”) will be held at 7:00 p.m. on: January 8, 2026, February 12, 2026, March 12, 2026, April 8, 2026, May 14, 2026, June 11, 2026, July 9, 2026, August 13, 2026, September 10, 2026, October 8, 2026, November 12, 2026 and December 10, 2026 at the West-Lawn Wyomissing Hills Library, 101 Woodside Avenue, West Lawn, Pennsylvania, 19609.
