About Us

In March 1937, our library opened its doors with fifty books on loan from the state in a community that valued reading and a lending library. With the help of community organizations and volunteers, it thrived.

In 1980, the West Lawn-Wyomissing Hills library joined the then-new system of Berks County Public Libraries. Twenty-one years later, renovations on the lower level of the building allowed the library to relocate to a beautiful and unique facility.

In 2011, the West Lawn-Wyomissing Hills Library merged with and became a branch of the Spring Township Library. The two libraries work together to provide for the educational, informational, social, and entertainment needs of the township residents.

Board Meetings

The monthly STLA Board Meetings are held at the West Lawn-Wyomissing Hills Library and virtually on Zoom. Meetings are open to the public. Please email director@springtwplibrary.org with questions or meeting link requests.

Meeting Location & Time

The regular monthly meetings of the Spring Township Library Association (“Library”) will be held at 7:00 p.m. on: January 9, 2025, February 13, 2025, March 13, 2025, April 10, 2025, May 8, 2025, June 12, 2025, July 10, 2025, August 14, 2025, September 11, 2025, October 9, 2025, November 13, 2025 and December 11, 2025 at the West-Lawn Wyomissing Hills Library, 101 Woodside Avenue, West Lawn, Pennsylvania.
