Berks Nature–The Nature Place

Home to Berks Nature's headquarters, Eco-Camp, and a new Nature Preschool, the Nature Place sits among nearly 100-acres in Reading's Angelica Park. Take a stroll through the wetland trails. Let the kiddos run free with their imagination in our Nature Play Zone. Then retreat inside to our lobby and store for educational programs and activities, capped with a tour of the green features of the building- designed to achieve LEED Silver status. Stop out and see what The Nature Place can offer you!

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary

Open year-round, visitors enjoy scenic vistas, 8-miles of ridge and valley trails, a native plant garden, and each autumn, the chance to observe large numbers of hawks, eagles and falcons as they migrate past the lookouts.

Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center

With 665 acres of forests and 11 miles of trails, Nolde Forest provides a variety of activity-oriented programs for students, teachers, adult groups and individuals.
