Master Gardener Mary Ellen Mahan presents a specially curated class based on The Longwood Gardens Community Read "Black Foods: Stories, Art & Recipes from Across the African Diaspora" by Bryant Terry. She will focus on non-traditional vegetables that can be grown in Berks County from the recipes in Terry's book. She will also provide information about the local seed business 'Sistah Seeds' in Emmaus.
