Computer Use

As part of library efforts to slowly and safely reintroduce important services during the COVID-19 pandemic, general public computer access has been altered to provide safe environments for patrons. Please be aware that occasional changes to this process may occur as public health trends evolve, including the expansion of locations and hours.

A full list of computer terminal access at Berks County Public Library locations can be found below:

 

Bernville Area Community Library (Starting August 16)
• 30 minute computer sessions
• Call ahead to reserve a time (610-488-1302). The library will close for 15 minutes between appointments for cleaning. Masks must be worn at all times.
• Appointments can be made at the following times:

  • Wednesday 11-3
  • Thursday 4-8
  • Saturday 10-2

 

Bethel-Tulpehocken Public Library
• 60 minute computer sessions
• Both walk in and reserved sessions are offered. Patrons can call (717) 933-4060 to reserve a computer.

 

Boone Area Library
Currently unavailable.

 

Boyertown Community Library
• 60 minute computer sessions with the opportunity for more time if no one is waiting
• Sessions are granted on a first come, first served basis

 

Brandywine Community Library

Exeter Community Library

Fleetwood Area Public Library
• Limited to two computer stations
• 30 minute computer sessions
• Sessions are granted on a first come, first served basis

 

Hamburg Public Library
• 30 minute computer sessions
• Sessions are granted on a first come, first served basis

 

Kutztown Community Library
• 30 minute computer sessions
• Sessions are granted on a first come, first served basis

 

Mifflin Community Library

RPL Main
• 
90 minute computer sessions
• Sessions are granted on a first come, first served basis

 

RPL Branches
Half of computers are available in Reading’s branches to facilitate social distancing.

Robesonia Community Library
• Call the library at 610-693-3264 to reserve a 30-minute session.
• Please arrive on time for your session, entering at the front (Brooke Street side) of the Borough Hall and library building.
• We require that you wear a mask and maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet from staff and other patrons.
• We recommend you bring your own materials such as scrap paper, pencils, ear buds or a flash drive.

 

Schuylkill Valley Community Library

Sinking Spring Public Library
• 60 minute computer sessions with the potential for a second session. Two hour limit for the day.
• Sessions are granted on a first come, first served basis

 

Spring Township Library
• Limited to three computer stations
• 60 minute computer sessions with the potential for a second session. Two hour limit for the day.
• Both walk in and reserved sessions are offered. Patrons can call (610) 373-9888 to reserve a computer.

 

Village Library of Morgantown
• 30 minute computer sessions
• Mondays and Tuesdays, 9am – 1pm
• Call (610) 286-1022 to schedule a computer time appointment

 

Wernersville Public Library
• Limited to three computer stations
• 30 minute computer sessions
• Call ahead to ensure a computer is available (610)-678-8771. Walk ins are permitted, but if no computers are available, patrons must wait outside. Waiting inside the library is not permitted
• Walk in sessions are granted on a first come, first served basis as available

 

West Lawn/Wyomissing Hills Library
• 45 minute computer sessions with the potential for a second session. 1.5 hour limit for the day.
• Both walk in and reserved sessions are offered. Patrons can call (610) 678-4888 to reserve a computer.

 

Womelsdorf Community Library
• 30 minute computer sessions
• Call ahead (610)-589-1424 to schedule an appointment.
• Walk ins are granted on a first come, first served basis as available.
