CURRENT CAUSE: Hats, Scarves and S.A.C.K.
In addition to creating and donating hats and scarves to local shelters, we will be supporting S.A.C..K. (Supporting a Community with Kindness) by creating crocheted/knit soap sacks, with soap in each, for homeless shelters, food pantries and transitional housing.
Second Saturday of each month from 10 AM to 12 PM
Magic Maker Workshop supports the Magic Yarn Project by creating homemade wigs for children who have suffered hair loss due to chemotherapy treatments. Teens and Adults who would like to participate may do so in the following ways:
1) Donating funds to purchase materials and cover the cost to ship boxes of wigs that will be distributed to kids.
2) Crafting bedazzled flowers, decorating envelopes, organizing materials and cutting yarn.
3) Crocheting beanies and wig components. Please contact Sarah at email@example.com to learn how to qualify to be an approved crocheter.
Wednesday, February 26th from 6 to 8 PM
There will be materials available to create greeting cards. All are invited to bring a current project to work on alongside their fellow crafters.
