AARP Tax Assistance

AARP certified volunteers will be here in the library on Wednesdays and Saturdays through April 6 to prepare and file income taxes for senior citizens. Please contact the library to schedule an appointment at 610-926-1555.

Tax Forms

This year, we will not be receiving all of the tax forms we used to supply to the community. Copies of the forms may be made from the websites below or by asking a librarian. Regular printing costs of 20 cents per page will apply.

Federal

Copies of the 1040 along with the schedules 1-6 will be available in the library along with instructions for the 1040 at no cost to the public. To print any other forms, please visit: https://www.irs.gov/forms-instructions
 

State

Pennsylvania will no longer be mailing tax forms to libraries or other community centers. We apologize for the inconvenience. Forms are available at the PA Department of Revenue office in Reading (625 Cherry St, Reading PA 19602 / phone: 610-378-4401). You may also call 1-888-PATAXES (1-888-728-2937) and leave a message to have tax forms mailed to you.
